#NationalBurgerDay



Last week my friend Rich from @myrichtones cooked us up a batch of sweet potato and butter bean, vegan burgers to celebrate #NationalBurgerDay! To fuel us before an evening of revision, for our Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology, Personal Trainer exam. They were pretty tasty, and took literally no time to put together.

Ingredients:
1 red onion chopped.
1 can of butter beans
4 cooked sweet potatoes
1 handful of chopped chives
pinch of salt, pepper and garlic.

Combine all the ingredients together, then split mixture into handfuls, shaping into burgers, adding wholemeal flour to help your burgers hold together. Rich then part fried the burgers in coconut oil before putting them in the oven for 15-20 minutes. We topped ours with lemon and courgette spaghetti (courtesy of a spiralizer) How did you guys celebrate National Burger Day?
